Alaskan's Speak Up - Peer to Peer Consumer Training

Thursday, June 24, 9:30-5:00pm
Location: SAIL - 3225 Hospital Drive (3rd Floor)

This one day training for persons with disabilities will teach you to:
* Know Your Rights and Choices
* Learn the Signs of Abuse
* Reduce Your Risks Develop a Safety Plan

In Juneau, pre-register at JRC/The Alaska Club, First Bank, Pavitts,
Nugget Alaskan Outfitters, or the SAIL office.
In Ketchikan, pre-register at Fat Stan's, First Bank, or the SAIL
office.
In Sitka, pre-register at Old Harbor Books, First Bank, or the SAIL
office.

Online and Early registrations end Thursday, June 24th at 5:00 p.m.
In-person registration begins at 10:30 p.m. on the night of Fool's
Run.

information to support them in making choices that will positively
affect their independence and productivity in society.

SAIL serves all people with physical and mental disabilities
regardless of race, ancestry, color, religion, age, marital status,
sexual preference, gender and/or income.

Consumer Rights Notification

Every consumer of SAIL has the right to appeal any decision that
denies services. If you desire representation in addressing your
concerns/dissatisfaction with SAIL, you have the right to contact the
Client Assistance Program (CAP) for assistance.
